The 'commands' used on the chat.

This is not a complete list. It is getting updated every now and then with new commands, that are either made, or remembered, or requested to be put here.

If you know of a command not here, PM myself Shade.

Command:
!away
Examples:
!away #(colour name here or HTML code.)
!away Going for a walk
!away Working on art #orange
!away  Working on art! #ff0000
What it does :
Sets you as 'AWAY' and puts the "away text" above your avatar. Anyone whispering to you after this will get a response with your "away text". If you want a different color for the text above your avatar, you may use an HTML color code (such as #ffff00 for yellow, #0000ff for blue, etc), and the message above your avatar will be shown in that color instead of the default white.
NOTE: Only Subscriptions on Standard and HIGHER can use this feature.

Command:
!back
Example:
!back
What it does:
Returns your avatar from AWAY mode and clears out your "away text". It can also be used to remove your comment bubble.

Command:
!friends
Example:
!friends
What it does:
!friends joe-user Adds a user as your friend. Note that the other user may have it set in their profile to pre-approve any friends requests. In that case, you will have to wait for them to approve your request before it takes effect.
NOTE: Only Subscriptions on Preferred and HIGHER can use this feature.

Command:
!ignore
Example:
!ignore
!ignore "joe-user"
What it does:
Adds a user to your ignore list. That makes the user 'go away'. They are invisible to you and you are invisible to them.
NOTE: You Cannot ignore admins.

Command:
!unignore
Example:
!unignore
!unignore "joe-user"
What it does:
Removes a user from your ignore list.

Command:
!lock
Example:
!lock
What it does:
Locks your session until you enter your password. Shows you a 'login' like screen.

Command:
!me

!me
!me looks around suspiciously...
What it does:
Prints special action text in colour(blue) with your username in the chatlog, indication a special action or behaviour.

Command:
!pmsg
Example:
!pmsg
!pmsg joe-user psst! how are you today?
What it does:
Lets you whisper to a user.

Command:
!pose
Example:
!pose
!pose ROTFL
!pose 12
What it does:
Changes your pose to this pose specification (either a pose name or the pose number).

Command:
!face
Example:
!face
!face r
What it does:
Makes your avatar to face the given direction (R or L). Changes the way you're facing. However if you are facing right and use '!face r' your avatar will not change, it my blink, it may not. But to change directions, you must put in the other direction you are NOT facing. So if you're facing right, put '!face l' (that's a lower-case 'L' not a capital 'I') simple.

What it does:
Edits the room you are in. You have to have edit permission or this will fail, of course.
NOTE: This does not work in public rooms.

What it does:
Pops up in a new window, with a list of the ! commands. THere list is here: !help pop up list
NOTE: The 'help' ! command list is NOT a full list of the ! commands.

!go mysts
Example:
!go mysts
What it does:
It opens a new tab in your browser, taking you to the mysts so you can see who's online and what room they are in, do not worry though it doesn't make you leave the room.

Command:
!go poses (or !go uploader)
Example:
!go poses
What it does:
Opens a new tab on your browser, that takes you to the 'body shop.' Where you change your colours or set you're using.

Command:
!go forum
Example:
!go forum
What it does:
Opens a new tab, that brings you to the Heitehu forum.

Command:
!sniff or !info
Example:
!sniff Joe-user
!info Joe-user
What it does:
Opens a new window, showing you the profile information (sniff information) of the user you 'sniffed.'

Command:
!clear
Example:
!clear
What it does:
Clears all current text from the chatlog. Essentially refreshing your chatlog back to a blank state.
NOTE: This command helps when you are lagging, if you find yourself lagging, try that command before you refresh your page.

Command:
!snow
Example:
!snow
What it does:
It makes it 'snow' in the room. Animated 'one snow flakes' appear on your screen.
NOTE: To stop the snow, just re-type. '!snow' And it only appears on your screen when you type it, unless the other users has typed the command too.

Command:
!rain
Example:
!rain
What it does:
It makes it 'rain' in the room. Animated 'rain drops' appear on your screen.
NOTE: To stop the rain, you'll be required to refresh. And it only appears on your screen when you type it, unless the other users has typed the command too.


Command:
!roomsniff or !sniffroom
Example:
!roomsniff
!sniffroom
What it does:
Show the profile information (sniff information) for every user in the room. Use with caution! This can open up a lot of pop up windows.

Command:
!transfer
Example:
!transfer
What it does:
Opens up a new tab of the 'Transfer Deltas' page, where you can easily transfer deltas from one account to another or to someone you've commissioned.

What it does:
Opens a new tab to the 'FAQ' tab, where you can review the frequently asked questions.

Command:
!message

What it does:
Opens a new tab to the 'Message' page, where you can message anyone on chatlands!

What it does:
Opens a new window showing you your accounts messages from users, and site messages such as pose updates, subscription updates and other messages.
